"...levying stricter penalties for sex offenders."

Was more important for the these legislators to vote themselves a pay raise than to come up with some tougher laws against sex offenders.

"increasing the minimum wage to $7.15 an hour" What could possibly go wrong?

Political activist Gene Stilp set up the 25 foot-tall swine. He said he's not going to let lawmakers forget about the pay raise the voted in for themselves in July. Gee, next Fast Eddie will want to raise our taxes. We all need to pull together to help him pay for things. I'm sure, somehow, it's for the chul-drun.

It's a shame they didn't have anybody who knew how to take a GOOD picture of the Pink Swine!

There must be something in the water of Pittsburgh, Harrisburgh and Philadelphia. The people have voted these swine in and they don't understand that their state future is being looted by these self serving political hacks.
I think Pennsylvania is beyond repair.

The big pink pig will be there again next Monday the 26th. A big rally is planned and a 130,000+ signature "petition of rejection" is to be presented to the returning Senators. The House returned this week and were greeted by the pig. The leadership needs to be voted OUT along with many others who aren't representing anything but self interests.....Old time "staffers" need to go too.
The rally runs from 1:30 to 3PM on Monday . Participants are urged to bring along cowbells or whistles and to be polite to security types.

I can't wait to Rock the Capitol! The pig this morning was so freepin' hilarious!

The last time a bunch of legislators were up for re-election, someone published a list of all the ones who voted themselves a pay raise a years or so earlier. Each one of the swine got back in.
This is a heavily Dem state...doesn't matter if you're an axe murderer, if you're a Dem, you will be elected, and re-elected.

This is a heavily Dem state...doesn't matter if you're an axe murderer, if you're a Dem, you will be elected, and re-elected. It's like that all over the east coast. The dems took over the labor unions and the unionists voted the way the union told them to. Now the great grand children of the old unionists vote dem because Grandpa and Papa voted dem and it's a tradition

Native Pittsburgher here..long gone.
This state is simply hopeless.
Everytime I return to the city it gets worse. The revitialization of downtown destroyed numerous vital small businesses there and replaced them with largely empty buildings and a park like situation where it is unsafe to walk at night.
Pittsburghers voted against the new stadium but the Dems in power constructed it anyway..ditto for the two absurd tunnels under the river.
In Pittsburgh the people don't matter...only self serving corruption by the demoncrats matters.
I moved away for college and career at 18 and only returned to visit family from time to time and when I am forced by my wife to take her there so she can visit her family.
Pittsburgh and the other two mjors are mired in PC, self serving democrat leadership, incompetence, lost businesses, crime, bankruptcy etc....
Sad!
