Apparently your last time out out didn't adjust your disposition. Second request: Stay off this thread.

Hold up. How far is Dallas from the coast?

Mercy is right. Which city would you rather have hit? Hitting an empty NO is better than a populated Galveston.

Please put me on the Rita list.
The projections have Rita coming to visit me by noon on Saturday. I guess I wont be doing my usual Saturday afternoon BBQ-ing.
To: jpsb
Everything is pushing Rita westThank you for taking the time to explain this all to me. Isn't FReep great? I ask a question, leave for a while and when I come back there is an answer. So, according to your explanation, we need to be praying this thing goes even farther south and into Mexico.

Please stay off this thread. This is not the thread for discussion about what to do about NO. It's meant for people who are following the track of the storm. It's an information thread for that purpose. Your debate isn't wanted on this thread.

This is one of our stray cats that we have housed in our garage for the last 16 months or so. They are beautiful cats, and are happy but the one Tabby cat we call "mouth" is fearless, and she is always stalking something.

You didn't see any problems in NC last week for Opehlia either!
I despise Mike Easley, our D governor, but he was all over that storm last week. Not so much as a whimper from anybody; and nobody here was looking for or waiting for FEMA.
Of course, we've been doing it "right" for years......LOL.
