We come together as a body of believers to lift up Kathi to You for Your powerful healing and restoration. We ask, Lord, that You would be the hands of the surgeon as this operation takes place. Destroy all that would destroy her, Father, and breathe life and health into every cell in her body. Give her the confidence of knowing that You will perfect everything that concerns her, and that You will again bring blessings to her in the midst of this trial. Thank You for the loving support of her family. May Your peace surround them and may Your love sustain them. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

My mother is the survivor of four surgeries for a large meningioma. She is 80 years old, and it was first diagnosed 27 years ago.

Prayers offered up for this woman, who seems to be a rare jewel in the television news business.

Heavenly Father, we return to thank You for the love and encouragement that will surround Kathi throughout her surgery and recovery ... may she know, Merciful Father, that we pray that the God who knit her first, will do so again in complete health. Grant the greatest wisdom and skill to her medical team ... let them be Your Healing Hand upon her, O God, and may they stand in awe of Your goodness and mercy. Take away all traces of this disease, Merciful Father, to the benefit of this beloved woman and many others who are walking through similar trials. Thank You for Your Presence among us, O God ... otherwise, we could not be sustained, nor could we triumph, but "lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the age." I haven't watched TV news (local or national)in years, but Kathi always seemed to be warm and genuine. Dealing with this once should be enough, it seems a shame that's it's returned and she has to face the surgery and rehab again.

My thoughts and prayers are with her.
