I don't watch award shows. If Blythe Danner called them kids, she insulted them. They are NOT kids, they are mature young men and women who are proudly serving their country. I had the honor to lead and train some of those fine young people, and I would put them up any day against the slimeballs in Hollyweird. Person for person, they are smarter, healthier, and better-educated than those loser actors. I might also add that there is less drug abuse among military personnel than among the civilian population in the same age range, and certainly less than among the Hollyweird types who daily put happy powder up their noses.
Blythe Danner, you were once a beautiful lady. You are now very, very ugly.
And who can forget her memorable turn as Mrs. Jefferson in "1776": C'mon, Tom, let's go back to Virginia and make peace with the British while we still can . . ."
Uh, no, waitaminute ....
