That's right. Captian O'Bannon (I think that's who it was) and six other Marines sacked a stronghold or two, American warships bombarded same, we had a daring rescue of an American vessel, and the ragheads caved and agreed to play nice. Noone was overthrown. The same ragheads were in power as before. They just knew better than to mess with us.
Now, I do not know if they still attacked ships of other countries or not; that would be interesting to research.
