Did you find someone to talk to about rescheduling because Rita seems to be headed more North now...? Still, we rechecked our hurricane supplies last night & are making plans to visit the in-laws in San Angelo this weekend... Hope all goes well for you...North Padre to me seems to be mostly undiscovered seashore...beautiful...

North Padre ahhh. Was fishing there about 24 hrs. ago. About 3 mi. south of Bob Hall Pier. Didn't catch anything special but still a nice afternoon on the beach. I keep a trailer (April-October) in Port Aransas so I am watching Rita closely.

Thanks. I hope it goes well with you, too.
And, no, I didn't talk to any one. I just walked outside, faced ESE, put my hands on my hips and put on a really scary, scowling face.
So far it looks like it worked. I'm glad it changed course when it did 'cause I was getting tired.
