Yeah...thats what Im thinking too LOL LOL! Im a bit edgy after watching the Katrina debacle. Before it hit, I was on the verge of saying "bring it here! Texas can take it!" After seeing what happened, Im not so cocky.
We were assured when we bought the place that Oyster Creek was well out of the floodzone. There might be more to worry about once the storm goes inland and dumps rain in areas of the Brazos upstream.

Don't ever be cocky about a hurricane. Don't ever wish for a hurricane when all you need is a little rain to cool off. You just might get a lot more hurricane than you bargained for.

If you recall, Longmeadow Farms wasn't anything but a pasture when you had the last hurricane in 2001........ lots of concrete there now..............
