To: Dog Gone

The weather there sounds like it did during the leadup to Isaac's storm..

The anitcyclone over the system should keep the dry air out. Especially if the storm gains a good bit of strength. The gulf has plenty of available moisture. It should be moving fast enough, but storms often gain some dry air from land downsloping off Mexico and continental air coming off TX.

Your reference to Isaac's Storm gave me a wave of dread. Hopefully, this storm will speed up which will give it a more western landfall.

Right now it looks kind of grim.
