AEMI isn't all that relevant; it's an average of a GFS ensemble I believe.
Off of those maps, if you were to look at one model, CONU would be the one. It's somewhat similar to GUNA in that it's an average of several good models.
Accuweather has had bad experiences with Galveston :-)
For Gilbert in 1988 they rather famously forecast Gilbert to hit Galveston, and Gilbert actually ended up plowing into Mexico a good distance south of the Texas Border.
Hopefully it will lessen and go elsewhere. They don't have much of a choice. I think they will go there anyway and get into the hospital for treatment and safety.

Cool - the WFOR feed is only about 10 seconds or so behind real-time CBS (they've been feeding video only for the past couple of minutes)...
Everyone, please keep in mind that WFOR's meteorologist is arguably the best television forecaster in the biz when it comes to hurricanes.
His feed'll be live in a few minutes...
