Thanks for the ping.
I knew we'd be a target soon.
We kept most of the wood on the windows until this past week. Now it looks like we're in the bullseyes.
p.s. If you can find it - Damp-Rid is a great product for drying out the home.

Haven't checked again yet today.
Katrina has already made Ivan and Andrew seem like relatively minor events, which they most surely were not.
We're simply not ready to absorb another one this year.
I just heard someone on Fox News say that 3 inches of rain could cause NO to re-flood.

I think we're screwed.
Blam, I'm counting on you to distract this one from where it looks like it's heading.
Heads up! Rita may be visiting next weekend!
Thanks for the heads up.......... could she possibly quarterback for us, apparently Carr is going to be looking for a new job.........
I don't suppose the Gulf has cooled off all that much since Katrina? I have no idea. I'm just curious. Geez... but another one in the Gulf.
Rita couldn't make a bigger mess of things... ;-)
Nope. Still bathwater temperature.
Katrina cooled off the north central gulf a little, but the western gulf is red hot.
It will take some shear to prevent her from hitting as a major hurricane.
Officials in Monroe Country are on the ball.
Think they've come down a degree or two in the last three weeks.
I expect all cities of the Gulf will be going way overboard to anticipate any need during this season - I'm not saying that is a bad thing, just that no one is going to want to get caught with their pants down anytime soon..........
Let's hope so. I'm not holding out a lot of hope for LA, though. Not as long as all the usual suspects still have their day jobs.
I really don't know how any city of 4 plus million could expect to evacuate everyone, but I'm sure Houson is already working on that one! lol
Start early. Better inconvenienced than dead.
