I totally agree apackof2--if a man doesn't have the strength to lead into a conversation to ask you out, how is he going to have the strength to lead a marriage?

So what is wrong with you leading the family? You have assumed the traditional male role as soon as you chose that career. Now you want your cake and eat it too? That is not fair to the men.

The outcome of modern feminism is that while women were fighting to obtain equal rights with men they did not allow men to have equal rights with them.

Well, for one it's biblical. And secondly - I don't think that women were meant to lead. I tried that once and I am divorced. Men and women and what they need are built differently- men need respect, women need love. And I can't respect a man that can't lead. I know myself- I need someone I can look up to.

And as far as choosing to be a leader at home when I became an attorney- 1) that's ridiculous and 2) it's not going to be traditionally male for much longer and 3) I am a woman that can take it off when I come home and let my feminine side come through at home, where it belongs. I know there are women that can't, and that is the alpha male-women you guys are talking about. But you can't punish a woman for becoming an attorney.

Speaking for myself, I have a career because I need to support myself, not because I choice a career over a husband and family.

If I were to marry I would gladly give up my "career" to put my family first

There are plently of us who haven't bought into the lie of feminism

You obviously don't know women as well as you claim or you won't make incorrect general assumptions about all women

Most women lead the family anyway. They just keep it a secret.

That is not fair to the men.

This is the key to a lot of the problems between the sexes, and it is more on the female side than the male side. Many women have hypnotized themselves into beleiving that many of their needs, desires, or whims are very important and should be addressed, while simultaneously dismissing the needs, desires and whims of men in general and the men in their lives.

They just don't have what it takes to maintain a good relationship. And they don't maintain a good relationship. Ultimately, that's fair.
