I prefer Tucson over Mesa (too close to Phoenix). Northern Arizona is very nice as well! :o)
OMG
Talk about clueless.
A woman would have to be totally clueless to actually ask a man.
No class.
If a woman wants to be asked out, she should be skilled in the subtle art of letting a man know she's interested.
It's all part of the human courtship dance.
And if the man still doesn't ask her, it means he's either a clueless oaf or not interested.
End of story.
Bwhhahahahahaha!
Stop you're killing me!
Exactly, that's a big part of it. While age can't completely filter for baggage, it's a good form of dead reckoning. A 26 year old woman, on balance, is going to have less baggage than a 36 year old woman. I always gravitate towards less baggage! :-)
In your post to another freeper you got that right tet68. Unfortunately the only thing you'll find in a bar is overpriced beer and losers.
Can you do hoe cakes? Or is that what you are referring to as ash cakes?
I could take my Dutch oven, a bow or gun, (knife of course)and a fishing pole and live fine forever in the woods.
Nothing tastes as good as food cooked over an open fire. I have a firepit outside in my yard and cook there often, especially in the fall and winter.

Really, I'm flattered. I am just puzzled as to why my "groupies" seem to be married.
C'est la vie! :)

"Anyway, as I said before, it's the man's responsibility to make the first move - there's no need to wait for some sort of mostly invisible signal that she learned from last month's Cosmo."
Sorry, but I disagree with you on this. Roles and rules of dating are not what they were even 30 or more years ago in the US.
Do I like the current rules? No. But your skating uphill if you don't deal with it.
Today, its trainwreck. I consider myself pretty old-fashioned when it comes to things. My father was always teaching me about being a gentleman to women. He's a great guy. But most gentlemen are set up to fail in todays dating game. Many women simply take it as an insult or percieve it as a sign of weakness. Many women don't even take it as a compliment or respectfully decline your advance, they hit you with the "AS IF!!!" look and walk away.
Men appreciate women who do persuing as well, as being the persue(e). We aren't @#$@ing mind readers.
Ah, I wish. Uncle Bob has no need of me, however.

Right! A man after my own heart!
Uhh-huhhh, nice..... but when we return from fanstasyland, in reality
she dated and married pro-athletes, hollywood moguls, and banged a married JFK.
Or maybe Einstein had enough brains to know women like that are nothing but trouble.
so damn true. Sad, but true.
This is basically true. Those in the mind sciences call this a 'Reference Group.' A bad Reference Group alienates me, and I think it alienates most people of both sexes.
What have you been doing for the past 10 years? Smart women have had their pick of the litter. Ya gotta take the left overs and apparently you can't find any suitable one in bars.
Yes, it's a great state...and Puget Sound is pretty awesome, too! We lived in Oly for a while..
That's a myth. There are some younger men out there that fit the bill. I wouldn't say it's a 'lot' of younger men.
put the laptop away!! Thats just criminal.
Sure, we can ALL live alone and even come to like it, but there are chemical things that happen between the sexes that make relationships what they are.
Want to explain what you mean by "fit the bill?"
