The helicopter pilots and crews never stopped

I bet most of these choppers were from outside Louisiana doing the same job after the flood that Mayor Nagin's buses should have been doing before it.

Maybe most after a bit where, but at least some and one in particular, an old NG Huey was being flown by a young Louisiana Guard member. He was one of the first ones on the scene. Seems like only yesterday I watched the pilot graduate from a tiny rural high school near here and there he was on TV plucking folks from roof tops...
