The deal could always be changed later once this system is set up. There's nothing to prevent that from being done. that can only happen if people let it happen. That is the very reason we are forming a movement, including creating a Constitutional Amendment. Repealing an amendment is extremely difficult. There were many skeptics who never believed women would never get the right to vote but a grass roots movement resulted in the 19th Amendment.
It amazes me you are satisfied being oppressed by an overbearing IRS and its 60,000+ page tax code because of a defeatist attitude with no basis in fact. By your line of reasoning New Orleans should be abandoned because it's hopeless to rebuild the city knowing another hurricane will hit sometime in the future. Maybe we should abandon Los Angeles because the big one will strike someday or Seattle since Mt. St. Helen's will erupt again. I would be angry if I didn't feel sorry for you.
