If you stay in that fog, you have no idea where you will end up because you will never have any perspective.In the case of Katrina, perspective would be things like the fact that Katrina is perhaps ten times more expensive than any previous natural disaster. And that the second most expensive was Hurricane Andrew - and no other hurricane is a close third. And that in both Katrina and Andrew, the controversy involved a Republican president and a recalcitrant Democratic governor.
