Responsible? Do you really think she cares on iota about her responsibility? She just wanted to be Governor along with the perks. The responsibilities were to be left to others.
But they weren't. She doesn't actually have to know how to handle the emergency, she just has to have somebody that does. But she doesn't. She probably did, but they told her things she didn't want to hear. So they were fired. By the Governor. That would be Her. She can do that.
Blanco doesn't have to be as long as George Bush is willing to take the blame for everything that went wrong.
It has been my opinion since the beginning that this woman does not have the brains to act as she has and that she is receiving her marching orders from D.C. Democrats. She's done a nice job of creating chaos and then having Bush apologize for it. Does anyone know what Carville has been up to recently?
