I am a prep person for now, I ran a restaurant before, but the guy I worked for has fallen off the earth, so I can't prove it, I don't mind starting over, I can learn from the ground up and I am a fast learner. Thanks for your encouragement. If I ever fell into to money I would open my own place, I actually love the restaurant business.

Great attitude...I loved the restaurant business as well..

It was LONG hours, mostly 7:00 am to 12:00midnight...and that was for a restaurant the closed at 9:00 pm...

I know pizza places are open later...

I think the reason I like the job is that I get bored easily, and a rest. manager does so many different things..and the daily ups and downs...won't ever become routine or boring!!!

Please keep me up on your journey as a manager...I really am proud of you and interested!

There is good money in restaurant management. The best way to learn the business is to work in the kitchen. The management skills you will learn are transferrable to other fields.
