Don't you find it somewhat curious that the death toll (to date) from Katrina, the ''greatest natural disaster of the past 100 years'' according to at least 4 lefty so-called pundits in the past 2 weeks, has to date a death total more than 150 lower than the total deaths during the baking of Chicago during the '95 heat wave?

Won't even bother asking about the politics of the Chicago city gov't at that time, or the lack of mention in the LSM of this episode, THE greatest politically-caused natural disaster, in terms of deaths, in at least the past 40 years.

The embrace of socialism is essentially a death wish, and socialist governments are hardly to be differentiated, over time, from en passant executioners.

And in many cases historically, one can drop the en passant entirely.
