Some of the Red Cross charity debit cards, issued to Hurricane Katrina victims to buy essentials in their time of need, have been used to buy designer handbags.
A spokesman for the Louis Vuitton shop in Atlanta, Georgia, has revealed that some customers have used the cards, which carry a value up to £1,000, to buy coveted fashion items.
"We have seen three cards," he said. "There's nothing legally that prevents us from accepting them. Morally, it's wrong."
In reading Spann_Tillman's previous postings, it is appears he is not racist. In fact, his/her accounts of working as a teacher in the inner city give the opposite impression.
What do you honestly think of this post below by Spann Tillman? Can you justify it somehow? I bet some of Spann's "best friends" are blacks.
They were low-end. They were African-American. I'm not interested in a discussion about semantics. I just call 'em like I see 'em.
BTW, welcome to FR, I think, as long as you are not from the stormfront or the likes.
(Ha! I'm back to posting as myself instead of borrowing hubby's account.)
