Would gas be a WMD? Forget it. We know there are no WMD in Iraq. .........sarcasm
I worry that it might be something they would try during the Iraq elections. They care little about killing their own along with our soldiers and allies.

no kindness to the Americans, whom he called "cowards who always seek to run away. The fool has to be at some newly discover level of ignorance to make such a statement from a hiding place.

He gives a very good assessment of the AMerican Left in his statement:
The man on the audio recording urged his fighters to be ready for a "final" battle and show no kindness to the Americans, whom he called "cowards who always seek to run away."
Oh BTW, is the really the final battle as he mentions?

An interesting effect of Katrina has been to suspend most of the MSM's coverage of the war. When I start my computer in the morning to go here and elsewhere, the first thing that comes up is the MS NBC home page, which has the day's headlines. I always check it for the latest casualty figures out of Iraq. In the last two weeks it hasn't publicized many of them, if they exist. I suspect, and hope, this lull in publicity has given our forces a breather and allowed us and the Iraqis to use more aggressive tactics without running into the propaganda flack that's hindered our earlier efforts.

He's a subhuman, not a dog. By equating him to a dog, you raise him to a far higher level than the one on which he actually exists. Most dogs are wonderful, loving, noble creatures who don't deserve to be equated with him. Even a mad dog is that way through no fault of its own. This vile piece of subhuman vermin has gotten where he is entirely through his own efforts. If captured, he should be interrogated to the fullest extent of modern science, given an enema of pig excrement, and exterminated.

The al-Qaida leader in Iraq purportedly criticized U.S. and Iraqi forces for recent fighting in northern Iraq, where hundreds of insurgents were killed or captured, and urged his fighters to prepare for a "final" battle in an audiotape posted Sunday on the Internet. Great a final battle. Just one more battle and the war on terror is finally over.

Thanks. Given
Olds Media's addiction to Katrina coverage based on their mistaken belief that Katrina makes them relevant again we can expect even less factual war reporting from them, if that's even possible.

this guy must be getting some of his talking points from Cindy Sheehan with his abhorrent exaggerations of the truth. She said we were using nukes, this guy thinks we're using gas. Do either live in this plane of reality?
IMHO Zarqawi's gas story ploy signals his desperation. Allow me a bit of
Schadenfruede over how leftists keep fighting the last war by trying to use
Olds Media as a propaganda tool yet again, but this time only fellow travelers believe
Olds Media propaganda.

Ursus arctos. Cute ploy, works everytime. Congressman denies beating wife.
Yeah. Too cute by half. To get any mileage out of such hoary old ploys
Olds Media's Katrina coverage must first enable them to rise from the ashes like a Phoenix and become relevant again. Doubtful.

Hard to say given my total disbelief of anything that Zarqawi says.

Olds Media relevance.

My suspicion too.

Our final crusade is killing and removing Z's kamikazi jihadists as fast as he can recruit them.
This operation must be really effective in ridding Iraq of the scum of the earth, Z's Jihadists.
Our final crusade is working and is cleansing the earth of the Islamofascists and their kamikazi jihadists.

so many final battles. so little time.
correct me- but I dont think the US military has lost a "final battle " yet.
To: injin
this guy should be face down in the dirt , tomorrow! To get Zarqawi we are going to have to continually shorten our OODA loop - It is still far to cumbersome in most cases -
While the OGA guys have done a hell of a job in a lot of cases (and will never get an ounce of credit) the fact remains our SOF units still need to 1. be able to conduct / gather their own Intel Ops 2. Have the authority to launch Ops irregardless of *certain* conditions being met beforehand (which drastically increases our ODDA loop).
While there are plenty of valid and real reasons for why UBL, Zawahiri and Mullah Omar have remained alive in the Afghan / Pak border region - There are far less reasons for why Zarqawi has managed to stay alive / free in Iraq over the past 18 months (of course there are reasons, but far less).
