Admiral Allen continuously says that they are going to treat the dead with "dignity and respect." That's going to be a first for dead folk in New Orleans. The locals are just throwing the bodies off of overpasses.

Make sure you watch the interview with Landrieu. She gets so angry with Wallace that she's mad doggin' him at the end.

Get ready for Landrieu. You might as well turn the truth-o-meter off.

We saw her interview this morning. The woman knows no shame; she is her father's daughter, political thru and thru. We are taping it now so we have a record of what she said, today.
I recall, but am not sure, that she said the people of New Orleans were incapable, or some such phrase, of helping themselves so the Feds should have known this and come to their rescue early. An incredible shifting of blame and responsibility, and a prime example of what the welfare mentality does to people.
The Dems: "We are here to help you, except when you need us!"

I'm gonna have a hard time focusing on Landrieu's psychotic rant. I'm thinking of all of the children now being stigmatized by FOX's referring to them as "Katrina Kids." Geeeesh!

Good heavens - if she spins any harder, she's going to fall out of the chair and roll out the door.

So that's her excuse, the people won't work on a Sunday. Even when it's a dire emergency, what a lame excuse. I guess it's everyone for himself for these employees who should have been informed that in times of emergency they would be expect to show up for work.

her comments are REALLY hard to swallow....the governor of la has enough trouble just getting his public employees to work on a good day, much less during a hurricane, so you can't blame his negligence on him.
you also can't blame him for not using the buses either, because they were underwater.
yikes. THOSE comments need to be held against her in the next election!

Landrieu interview coming up
What a piece of work....ducking & diving and can't answer a question at all. I wouldn't want her for a next door neighbor, much less senator. What a waste of time she is. At least Chris Wallace tried to draw her back to the questions and good for him for showing the buses.

He nailed her with the pictures of the buses, and she ducked and weaved like Woody Allen in the ring with Mike Tyson. Chris is being far too polite, and allowing her to make her speeches too easily. I wish he's have brought up Mary's aunt Phillis being on the Board of the Orleans school system

Go, Brit, go....explain FEMA! Most reporters don't understand.

Brit Hume is ever so brilliant. Thank God for him, without Brit there may be no real reporting on TV.
