It would be more credible if the author had spelled "canon" and "canons" correctly and had observed subject-verb agreement throughout the article. As it is, it reads as if it was written by a junior high school student spellchecker fanatic who failed to use a grammar checker.

It is sad for other reasons as well. The ORCC was at its schism a very conservative church that has drifted further and further into error. It is leading many astray.

Amen, brother. As schism is proximate to heresy, the heresies were predicable. One can see this same process happening in the recent schism.
