My Mom and Dad are in Wilmington too. They don't seem to be too worried--having been through many hurricanes there. Sounds like rainfall is the biggest threat for this event.

It's not going to be anything terrible, but a long period of heavy rain and wind. The storm will either be holding its own or strengthening as it nears that area though, so it may not always be pleasant. The longer it rains, the more chance trees/etc. will start coming down.
