My daughter and son-in-law, and I -- have been deliberating whether or not to name our newgranddaughter -- not yet born -- Ophelia. The storm and my daughter's labor are following similar paths -- coming on, stalling, backing off; repeat pattern. I've wifed a number of births; but I'm telling ya, cf_river_rat... this one is just about wearing me out!!

My stepdaughter just did that same thing, from July on! Maddening!

It sounds like you'll be in need of some R&R when she's (gbaby) here. My wife had four and each one was pretty straightforward. I guess that's easy for ME to say ;)

Hurricane Ophelia is kinda tearin' my nerves up. We have to put off a lot of work until after she passes by, so I'll probably be playing catch-up after Thursday. I don't mind workin' but with the She-hag and Medusa here at the same time I'd rather be a-FReepin'. I say NIMBY to them!
