General Lee is considered a brilliant commander by West Point. It does you NO credit to insult him. He was brilliant. If he had the advantages the Federal Army had, the Confederacy would have WON.
One of the biggest myths of the Lost Cause was the brilliance of Robert E. Lee. Great leader perhaps, but brilliant commander I think not.
