Haven't read the posts, so don't know what others think, but I think this is ridiculous.

It's even on the cable stations. I don't like that kind of music; I don't like most entertainers, and I don't like their phony pleas for help.

I already donated to the Salvation Army, Noah's Wish and my church. I certainly won't donate through this.

Fortunately, the sci fi channel is soldiering on with new episodes.

Grrr.

I don't have cable, and if I did, I would not watch this type of crap.
The honest charitable organizations in my county have requested that people stop physically showing up with offerings, until they can get a handle on long term requirements.
They have requested that you leave a message with your contact information, ability and/or willingness to help, and ask that you be patient while they sort out an overwhelming response.
This telethon?
Screw "Hollywood". To them, its just another venue.
