Some of my heros are black, hence that is why I use Hendrix as my name on this board (for Jimi Hendrix). I have great respect for anybody as long as they are not a racist, and that includes black racists. Jesse Jackson is the kind of person who I don't have any respect for because he is a racist IMO. Condeleza (spelling?) Rice, on the other hand, is a hero of mine.

I agree, Hendrix. All races have great heroes and some really crummy people, too. I was raised with no prejudice whatsoever. In fact, my parents NEVER said anything bad about anyone as long as I can remember. They just didn't have that in their hearts. When I was little, and we lived in Boston, my parents worked with a Christian International Youth Group for University Students. Two of the guys were from Ethiopia: Eb and Bernie. They would come over to our house for dinner (we had a church in our home) and I would sit on his lap. As a four year old I thought he was the most beautiful person I'd ever seen.
