The state of Louisiana does not register guns. The only "registry" would be those *federal* forms that all those who purchase from a *federally* licensed dealer must fill out. For those they'd have to "raid" the gun shops, pawn shops, sporting goods stores, some hardware stores, and of course WalMart, since that's where the forms are kept.
