prop 187 was the will of the people. Arizona recent prop #___?? has so far been upheld by court. Anyone know if a suit was filed? California is hopeless. He is going to veto the gay marriage bill isn't he or is he going to cave in on it at the last minute.

I too can't wait until we leave this state. Just trying for find a nice conservative state with smallest amount of illegals, liberals. If we could just carve out our city and move it out of CA.

Prop 200, approved by 57% of the voters, including huge percentage of Hispanic voters, dragged thru courts and liberal gov office, diluted and watered-down so much that it is still easier to vote than to rent a movie.

And I can't seem to find a state without illegals - thought Indiana had hope but apparently one town near Notre Dame is completely overrun. Every sign was in Spanish, locals can't find work, and day laborers and criminals hanging out in public....

We are checking out Iowa (Des Moines), Southern Illinois and and Northern Texas. CA is not a place we would like to raise our kids or be further jaded by. Everytime we visit another city, state, we find that people by far are more conservative, more friendly, the real estate is more affordable, (granted, appreciates slower) and the quality of living seems much more geared towards family and away from BMW's and designer clothes.
