Once again - it's Bush's fault because his "cronie" is running FEMA. This woman is despicable. Does she know the incompetent, crying Governor told the Red Cross to stay away from the SuperDome?

Molly Ivins should investigate why she looks so much like Ernest Borgnine.

I wonder if Molly Ivans knows that FEMA only has 1,500 employees? She seems to think that FEMA folks are supposed to be first responders. Clearly, they are not.

Let's see, Brown was head of FEMA last year when Florida was bashed by multiple hurricanes. Brown was head of FEMA when NO and MS get bashed by a hurricane. What's changed? Only the location. So maybe, just maybe, the folks in Florida were better prepared by their state and local governments, the state/locals had plans and they executed their plans -- and the quality of FEMA leadership (top, middle or bottom) had little to do with it.

Molly reminds me of the hippies that used to dress up like indians back in the 60's. In fact, she probably was one of the hippies that used to dress up like indians. Now she's a left-winger who poses as a plain ol' Texas cowgirl.

According to Molly's liberal logic conservatives should not be allowed to head government agencies because at one time in their lives all they did was eat, sleep and crap in their diapers. Congratulations Molly once again you display your world class stupidity.

Honestly, if Bush didn't exist Liberals would have to invent him, because otherwise they wouldn't have anyone on whom to blame their own failures.

"FEMA was once considered one of our better federal agencies. Exactly why the right-wing Republicans chose to make FEMA a political football was never clear, unless you subscribe to the theory that they particularly dislike any government agency that helps people."
Clinton once appointed a former State trooper to head FEMA. His qualification: He was the only Trooper in Arkansas who sided with Clinton when the other Troopers were telling us what a scum bucket he was. Do not tell me, Molly, that FEMA was not a political football back then.

Allbaugh and Brown did NOT attend the same college. That makes it highly unlikely they were college roommates. Does anyone know the truth about this?
