You make good points in your post 67. But the reality is, there isn't much difference between marriage and domestic partners. It's just psychological on both sides. Don't get me wrong, better to protect the word than to not protect the word. But in reality, it's an empty victory. Still, I'm glad to see them lose one too.
The gay marriage battle has not gone well for us, and I think we will ultimately lose it in many states. But I want to make the road as bumpy as possible for these arrogant geeks. There is always value in doing the right thing.
No, it is not. By attempting to change the definition of marriage to include same-sex couples, the Left has actually been attempting to rewrite the Bible, not the dictionary. In the Bible, God defines marriage as being between a man and a woman. The Left wished to trump the Bible, or more accurately, invalidate it. They attempted to replace a law of God with one of their own. They failed. And that is a tremendous victory.
