-Code of Fair Campaign Practices [Vetoed 09/07/05]
-Author: Speaker Pro Tem Leland Yee (D-San Francisco/Daly City)
-This bill would add to the pledge contained in the Code of Fair Campaign Practices that the candidate will not use or permit any appeal to negative prejudice based on sexual orientation or gender identity.

AB 849 (fka AB 19) [Schwarzenegger Vows to Veto]
-The Religious Freedom & Civil Marriage Protection Act, AB 849 (formerly known as AB 19)
-Authors: Mark Leno (D-San Francisco) and Assembly Speaker Fabian Núñez (D- Los Angeles)
-Existing law provides that marriage is a personal relation arising out of a civil contract between a man and a woman (Prop 22 - Family Code). This bill would instead provide that marriage is a personal relation arising out of a civil contract between 2 persons.

AB 1400
-Civil Rights Act of 2005
-Author: Assemblymember John Laird (D-Santa Cruz)
-The bill amends the Unruh Civil Rights Act to specify that businesses that provide services or goods to the public cannot discriminate based on sexual orientation, gender identity or marital status.

SB 973
-“Domestic Partners Retirement Equity bill”
-Author: Sen. Sheila Kuehl (D-Santa Monica)
-Allows public employees who retired prior to the enactment of AB 205 (2003 domestic partnership law) to pass their benefits on to a partner when they die.

Thank you for posting these bills.

I'm wondering, since he already vetoed the first on the list, why do you think he didn't just go ahead and veto the gay marriage bill instead of announcing his intention to do so?
