Well... Major reported it was the state dept of homeland security, but they obviously answer to the Gov.
Any idea if/when/where a transcript might be available?

Be fair...the Mayor did tell the people to bring their own food and water. ...for three days!

This heinous behavior of BalnkoJerko calls for her to face murder charges. If you're driving drunk and kill someone you get manslaughter charges. Stupidity combined with arrogance is hardly an"excuse".

Hey Oprah, call the governor for that apology you believe should be forthcoming.

Brit Hume and Major Garrett just did an excellent job of laying out the elements of the lack of aid to poor Blacks in NOLA. Too bad no one outside of the few conservatives who watched this program.
The "Bush did it" mantra will drown out any voice of reason. I do however have hope that the majority of Americans will continue to recognize the MSM for what it is.

Tony, if you're lurking, maybe you could do something with this or get it to Brit, or ??

Now she has stopped the evacuation of the remaining. SHE wants the water tested so SHE can make the decision. I am convinced the feds should tell the citizens of LA to FO and bail out. Let the people own there live with what they voted for.
They can die for all I care.

Actually, I have heard similar things several times already, including here at FR, and from some of the TV journalists, to the effect that ambulances, national guard, and rescue supplies were piling up outside of town for several days awaiting the governor's order to go in, an order she withheld because conditions inside the city were not safe enough to risk putting people in there.
That is a decision that may or may not have been wise, but which if she were honest she would have stood behind. Instead she quietly held the rescuers back while blaming Bush for what she herself had ordered.
It was only the arrival of General Honore and his effectively taking over the operation that finally broke the logjam.
