I just got back in town and had taken donations on Sunday for Evacuees that are here in Killeen and drove past the collection point as they changed the sign to "We have what supplies we need for now."Cool! I'm in Los Angeles, so there's not much I can do personally other than donate to the Salvation Army. But I enjoy reading accounts from folks such as yourself who've been able to personally get involved. I only drove through the Texas panhandle once, so I don't know much about Texas. Yet it must be a great state considering all the wonderful people who come from there.

(NOTE TO MSM: Each state is sovereign over its own territory. GWB is NOT king of the U.S.)

Well the PanHandle is pretty bland {don't tell Squantos;O)} You need to check out Central Texas and The Hill Country if you can.
Thanks, we like it very much.
