There were no supplies in the SuperDome because George Bush didn't drive the tractor trailers down there and stock the shelves. Thats why.

. The stunningly inept leadership is NO and LA could have thought to prepare for hurricanes...but that would have involved forethought planning.

I remember reading that the evacuees had been there for days before they finally got fed up and broke into the storage areas and took control of the food and water. There were supplies in the Superdome, but nobody was giving them out.
