I received one of those notifications about a sex offender moving into my neighborhood about a year ago. Turns out the kid (a teenager) had slept with his teenager girlfriend and had been charged with statutory rape.

By those lights half the folks on this forum would technically be sex offenders.

That I did not do. (I was the class geek, no self respecting HS gal wanted to be seen with me) However, half my high school was doing such. His life was ruined. Fortunately my fellow classmates lives were not.

I doubt that is the type that got executed, any word on the details of their crimes? Yes... I agree some of the convicts put on those registries are not in the same category.
