Of course you have to crack down on some vigilanteism, but I think we all should stand-up and applaud the execution of two child rapists.

But who would decide which vigilantes to crack down on, and how would they do it? Would it be dealt with by other vigilantes?

In my dream world, the crackdown would begin in a year or two after the scum was cleared from the streets. Seems like a no brainer… every detective should ask himself should I track down a child rapist today or should I track down a guy that is killing child rapists.

Maybe someday we would get to a point where there were not child rapists to track down. If so then tracking down vigilantes would be higher on the good cop priority list.
