I think the way it works is that if enough people don't shop there, it will close. If they do, it stays open. Just a guess.

Your right. 2 wally's were not allowed to build in the northern lower peninsula of Michigan recently. Voted down by local communities due to the negative impact on businesses and the community, 2 more are scheduled to close in southeast Michigan. You can count the number of their 'supercenters' on one hand here in MI. Full time employee means 32 hrs. per week....so they can skirt the minimum wage. P.S...don't even consider buying their junk oil filters by Fram...they all have cardboard endcaps inside. Never bought anything from wally, never will.
