Are you saying he should have shot the looters anyway to prevent them from stealing from an unarmed generator owner?

Maybe he's not saying it, but I am.

Do you think because these looters have been turned away they will just give up and decide to go straight from now on? No! they will now be really p!ssed and will go looking for revenge on the first hapless victim(s) they find. And they will find some. They will probably not only loot, but rape, maim and murder to regain their lost self-esteem and to prove to each other they weren't really scared.

He should have shot them on the spot when they threatened him. Shot them all dead. Good riddance to trash and a deadly public threat!

I'm not saying should or shouldn't. He was in the situation, not me, so I can't judge. I certainly think he would have been justified in doing so, although I'm not sure what I would have done in that situation myself.

I'm saying it's frustrating that in protecting his own life and property, all he's doing to the looters is slowing them down a bit.
