I was trying to give Roberts as much credit as possible for knowing the Rehnquist leadership style.
But when he actually worked for Rehnquist, Rehnquist was an Associate Justice and Burger was the Chief Justice.
Maybe he picked up on Burger's style of running the court. :o
I hope we're both right. The one complaint on Roberts is our not knowing for sure how conservative he is, as Ann Coulter and others have pointed out. Since I have no way of knowing one way or the other, I'll continue trusting Bush on making the best choice.
