Ya I was. McConnell is best. He is ambiguous about Roe. I don't think he ever wrote that it should be overturned. He is somewhat cautious and careful about ignoring stare decisis. McConnell will be could because he is the most respected authority on separation of church and state issues in the land, and that area of the law is a mess. He like Roberts is also highly respected and genial; indeed McConnell has firmer reservoirs of rapport than Roberts does with liberal law professors. McConnell would be rather easily confirmed, just like Roberts, maybe more so.
