"In that place, 98 per cent of the people were bad."

The wonders of multiculturalism.

Yes. We have seen with our own eyes and heard with our own ears the wonder of our diversity.

That 98% figure is absurd and was said in the heat of the emotions generated by the trauma.
That place certainly had a sizable gangsta element and I don't doubt the Aussies horror stories. But many of those folks in the Dome were women and kids and most likely just as worried about the anarchy as the tourists.
Maybe 25% bad guys.Not 98%

There is a connection here I am missing. How is multiculturalism at fault here?

Multiculturalism is not the problem. The establishment of a welfare state, which inculcates the populace with an entitlement mindset, laziness, not to mention ignorance and illiteracy. Coupled with the denial and refusal to take personal responsibility for your (generally speaking)actions. I would say the left, namely the Democratic party and its policys, is the direct cause of the uncivilized behavior that we have recently witnessed in New Orleans and to a lesser extent in the greater area of the state of Louisiana.
