It's steamier in NO, but not by much. It rains more in NO, but there are more frog strangler storms in Houston.

Folks here in Utah think a half inch of rain is a lot. What do they know?

I have been transfixed by listening to a royal rant by the MSNBC guy, which I had switched to in a no-O'Reilly hour. He is amazing in his scathing blame of everything on the President Bush and his admin. Not one word about the mayor, the buses, the Governor, the LANG, etc. Phenomenal. I just hope his ratings are down around 100000 viewers. Wow, he just emitted a lot of his own toxic sludge. Wow! Pure vitriol!

LOL---good descriptions of both NO and Houston...

I haven't been to Utah, but I grew up in Boulder Colorado..we would have rain every afternoon about 5:00 for about 30 minutes...and then over and starry skies...

We never had to water out lawns...but it was never humid...
