Watching the news footage yesterday, I was struck by rescue workers going house to house in flooded areas helping elderly blacks get to safety. These poor souls were obviously too afraid to leave the safety of their homes as all of their homes had BARS ON THE WINDOWS to protect them from the scum of their own society and wasted culture. This is truly Jesse Jackson's and Al Sharpton's legacy and people in the media should be putting the spotlight on it now. It's the only way to affect change.

I also listened to Jackson ranting that the residents of New Orleans should be kept in the state. I guess the Dems are already worried about losing control of the state if all of their voters are dispersed around the country. It's probably why they don't want them to go to Utah and other conservative states as it dilutes their voting power. That's the Dems, always concerned about the welfare of "their people". /sarc

Well, that, and many of these people will have better lives outside of the state. New Homes, offers for employment, they are getting free medical help many needed before the hurricane hit. They could possibly become independent productive apart from the Welfare state. Think the Dems haven't figured that out as well.

I heard Wesley Clarke on FNC saying the very same thing earlier today. Just like you said: the Dems are already worried about losing control of the state if all of their voters are dispersed around the country.
