Not sure about the individual squabbles....but I suspect at the root of all of this is for the D party to make Hillary the point person "to the rescue" as they paint Bush/R's as incapable/incompetent. They can't beat conservatives on foreign affairs, so they are going to try to turn us all inward - making themselves the champion of "the people." Hillary will be put front and center on all bills and efforts to "get to the bottom of the poor response." They are nothing but political opportunists - and this is a huge opportunity for them.

No way. The rats are screwn on this deal. They fouled it up big tihng, maing. What they're doing is trying the old best defense is a good offense technique. Won't work. They're squawking, nobody's listening except their faithful. That's why they're losing elections, and they may well have just lost Louisiana.

I thought it was *interesting* that Sid (Hillary's buddy) Blumenthal crawled out from under the woodwork all of a sudden early last week and figured they were starting to set the Pres up then - didn't want him to get the approval ratings, etc. he did after 9/11 - it's been non-stop Bush-bashing since then by the Dims and their compatriots in the MSM.
