I posted on another thread...that I bet that if there is a "Katrina Commission", that somehow ole Witt will make it on it...which would then make it as bogus as the 9/11 Commission!

OMG, you are so right!

A lot of people seem to be discovering that they are the former and not the latter.

the survivors cannot be allowed to make these decisions. They need to be set up somewhere, quickly, and then they can be asked..."how can I help you?". IMHO they need to be given time. That's all I meant. Oh, I agree. I understand. It's not up to them. I take no offense at all. I'm just trying to explain the mindset as I understand it.

oops, posted the reverse. the blame/not-to-blame for Bush was 45/55.
sorry about that.

If Bill Clinton were President right now and the exact same thing happened, the MSM would be praising him for his leadership and all the efforts. Bump

Maybe Lott's just mad because he lost his cool cowboy hat in the storm.

"I feel like we're out here all alone; not one of "our people" has stood up for this president" Well, I am sick of it. And I'm paying close attention to who is saying what. Particularly of the folks who are supposed to be on our side.

I agree Howlin, it's depressing, maybe time to stop watching for awhile

Is this what the left could be afraid of?

It seems that a toxic landfill site on which housing was built in central New Orleans is now under floodwaters with the potential to pollute and contaminate portions of the Gulf Coast.

I'm not so sure. The Media just loves to eat whoever is in charge. Only they can do better.

I sent Landrieu and Blanco email yesterday telling them not to worry about the great exodus of their voter base. They have plenty of voters that are staying from which they got elected the last time. I feel confident there will be a huge memorial dedicated to them where they will reside. I also told them they should be very proud of the upgraded housing these people will receive. Granite is much finer and longer lasting than the homes they had previously. Done like a true Democrat! Bravo!
