Well, Texas also has the death penalty....and is not afraid to use it. Hopefully the evacuees will be mostly gracious guests, but the old saying, "you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear" comes to mind. The new population probably contains a criminal element in proportions similar to the pre-Katrina demographic from whence they came.
Thank you sweetliberty, do you know what is interesting in all this? Hearing on local TV that there have been several arrests made because of illegal drugs and assaults here in Texas, drugs, how do people who complain because they have no food and water manage to get illegal drugs??
