She's toast.

She's not. She's a Democrat doing her utmost to make the President look small and inept, and nearly half the people in America voted Democrat last year. Somebody in the administration better have the fortitude to respond to these vicious attacks. And I don't mean with empathy and understanding and serenity.

Your post causes me pause and think about this.

The President's job is to respond to personal attacks? And from whomever? Landreau? Sheehan? Move-on?

Or his job to do.. his job?

I think the task of dealing with the Landreau jab, for example, belongs to the people who support President Bush's works.

The Lib-Dems can't stop the successes of President Bush, and these successes are numerous. What libs do is the "engage by dialog". This is part and parcel of their "non-violence"metholodogy and tactics.

They are trying, always, to taunt him to "engage" with them.

They are like little kids in a playground and lonely for attention, so they resort to trying to get negative attention. And in this manner are they trying to divert his attention away from HIM DOING REAL THINGS. ACCOMPLISHING REAL THINGS.

I see it often, from conservatives -- this thinking that if the President goes on "offensive" ("Oh, Finally") and slams these juvenile "dialogers" that somehow this will work out better for "Bush". Libs are just trying to grow "the talking points issue", and here's President Bush giving them nothing to fester on. My, my...

Fact is, he's not running for President Again. And the Dems are only going after those in Republican Party they think "might" RUN for the office. They've no longer got sell-outs and intel into what the Republicans have planned. So, they play the "taunt" game.

The Man, President Bush, means what he is says: Liberty and Freedom are up to each of us.

Not a single one of us, here, wanna see a Dem take the office of President, next term. But if it comes, I'll still be fighting the good fight. No matter what.

That's the lesson I take away from Katrina -- people do choose to condemn themselves. So can a country, and by how they vote.

Bush Admin has done a great job of clearing a lot of matters up, quietly doing the good work.

So, let's imagine a Dem becomes President. Is he/she going to immediate demand Withdrawl of troops from Iraq or elsewhere around the world? Going to immediate rescind the tax cuts to each and every taxpayer? Going to rescind the President's tort reform and medical reform policies?

Or just talk us all to death...?
