Really bizarre. I mean, not only has Bush not criticized the local police, it's not something he would even think of doing. She must be saying this as to continue the blame game. Criticize Bush for what he hadn't done, but if he did . . .
Sounds like deflection to me. Anybody who knows what's gone on in NOLA realizes that the local government dropped the ball. It was amateur hour.

not only has Bush not criticized the local police, it's not something he would even think of doing.There is a concept called projection. She must be harboring negative thoughts about the locals and is projecting it onto the President.
It's like the husband who is cheating, he gets very suspicious of his wife.

Actually I think he included the NO police in his praising of local agencies. I thought surely at the time he must be making a point for the ones who have stayed. Landreui is truly bonkers.
