In all seriousness, these people are in denial of the fact that maybe thousands of people are dead because of these buses. I really do feel for their mental stability when they finally confront this issue. I certainly don't think it was intentional but the are going to hurt greatly and for that I am sorry.

They could have run shuttles between NO and BR while the other municipalities picked them up there and brought them to other shelters out of harms way. It's an hour's drive to BR. If they did that for two-three days round the clock they could have evacuated a whole lot of people.

Also in all seriousness, any plan to use these buses to get the poor people out must be local in nature. There is no way that Uncle Sam in DC knows where and when to load up the project dwellers. This is a LOCAL NO issue pure and simple. They can't blame this on oppression by The Man. No way.

Many of those people suffering in the Superdome should have been bused out. DENIAL ain't just a lake in Louisiana.
